Children's Playground
The playground
This is usually the busiest part of the park at weekends and bank holidays demonstrating that the introduction of a new children’s playground at Queens Park has been a huge success.
The playground is located at the Spa Road end of the park and is conveniently very close to the Spa Road car park. Access is via a small bridge that crosses the river Croal.

There are plenty of things to keep kids entertained from swings to climbing frames and even a miniature zip line!
The playground is surrounded by grassy verges which include picnic benches and the restored Victorian water fountain.
Within sight of the playground is Queens Park cafe with toilet facilities available to the public.
