Queens Park Cafe
Queens Park cafe is located close to the children’s playground on the Spa Road side of the park.
Built on the site of the old playground and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund the cafe is the focal point of Queens Park for anyone wanting a bite to eat or a hot drink.
They serve freshly baked pies, soups, jacket potatoes and for those with a sweet tooth, freshly made cakes and ice cream.
The cafe also offers an extensive snack/breakfast/lunch menu.
The cafe offers toilet facilities as well as meeting/conference rooms to hire at affordable rates.
The outdoor seating area is very popular on sunny days and the cafe prides itself on being dog friendly with fresh drinking water available for dogs.
It is open seven days a week between 8:30am to 5pm.Â
Lancashire Wildlife Trust
The cafe is now managed by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, a charity who are passionate about protecting wildlife and their habitats.
The charity does not receive any funding from the government so relies on donations and the support of members of the public.
Every time you buy a drink or something to eat at the Queens Park cafe you will be supporting the vital work that this amazing charity do for our wildlife here in the northwest

Whether it’s home made lemonades, hot chocolate with marshmellows or mulled fruit drinks in winter Queens Park Cafe have a variety of drinks for you to enjoy whatever the weather.
Drinks can be enjoyed inside the cafe or the outside seating area.
There are also picnic benches nearby if you need shelter from the sun
